HP 6!

"Once again Harry, I must ask too much of you." - Professor Albus Dumbledore

Ladies and gentlemen, this is THE summer movie of the year. Really.

I watched the movie at One Utama and I have to tell you, the cinema there is out of this world. Seriously, the arm chairs are like your sofas at home, all soft and comfy and with ample butt space. Most importantly, the screen is ginormous and the sound system really makes you feel as though you are part of the movie. And imagine watching Harry Potter at GSC in One Utama? Insane!!! Actually I really loved the movie - amazing. Actually, I would say that for every HP movie because the way they reenact and bring to life your imagination is simply spectacular and magical. I have always loved the graphics and soundtracks of HP - very mysterious, grand, haunting. For those who said the movie sucked, go watch it at One Utama. Sorry folks, but truth is, the cinema in Sunway Pyramid sucks, big time!

This movie has always been a phenomenon that has captured the hearts of millions, including mine. So, it wasn't surprising that the premiere in London was equally crazy! Despite the torrential downpour, hundreds of fans faithfully turned up on the 15th of July.

Voila! Emma Watson took to the red carpet in a vintage dress by 1970s designer Ossie Clark, while co-stars Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint looked slightly bedraggled in suits, clearly having been caught by some of the rain. If you want to watch the premiere, go to :
I somehow prefer Danielle Radcliffe in his glasses though... but this is a very nice pic.

This is the rest of the cast. You have the dangerously handsome, suave and dark "Death Eater" Tom Felton who plays Draco Malfoy - the taunted, mysterious teen who undertook an impossible task from You-Know-Who, which took a heart-breaking twist when Snape ended up killing Dumbledore. *sobs* Next, there is the super gorgeous Emma Watson, who plays Hermione Granger, the super smart-ass of Hogwarts whose sensitive and sentimental sides towards Ron Weasley were painfully obvious, but Ron, being him, he was Oblivious to them of course. Then there is Rupert Grint whom had just recovered from H1N1 *awww* and he plays Ron Weasley - who is quite a womanizer is this movie actually, toggling between Lavender and Hermione and inadvertently, Romilda thanks to her very potent love-potion-infested-chocs. But he is still very sweet in his dorky, awkward manner =) Danielle Radcliffe plays Harry Potter - duh, understatement of the year. Next to him, you have Bonnie Wright who plays the character of Ginny Weasley - HP's sweetheart. And haha she is taller than him in the movie, because she is actually 20 years old in real life! It was so funny when she tried to kiss Harry, hahaha. Lastly, you have Jessica Cave who plays Lavender Brown - the total desperado who fell head-over-heels for Won-Won. But she is a really good actress, seriously.

The Weasley Twins! Love them like crazy! Super hilarious and adorable.
My favourite part is always the Quidditch game. Omg, and in this movie, they played it in winter with snow everywhere and it's just breathtaking. Makes you wanna grab a broom and jump into a freezer with flying cotton wools. Dang. This movie not only makes you laugh, but touches your heart with suspense, sweetness and sorrow. I screamed when the Inferi suddenly grabbed Harry's hand - freaking scary, k? I also cried when Dumbledore was killed and everyone raised their wands in the air to pay their respect to him.
So, go watch this movie and see your imagination come to life. Beyond anything you'd imagine.
Oh, and my sister has gone back to Australia (gasp! Melbournes somemore) but yay! I have the whole room to myself now. Sweet! haha, just kidding. Well can't wait for her to come back next time with more chocolates and clothes for me!

PUSH RALLY was Awesome-ness!

So sorry for neglecting my blog, but I did not really have time to blog - finished 4 episodes of One Tree Hill, had to sleep in class the next day, and day after... Anyways, first things first, PUSH RALLY was really amazing! The worship was out of this world, and Pastor Daniel Singh and Pastor Andy Yeoh were super awesome. The shirts were very pretty and most importantly, I had a great time there. Just so you know, I was there form 7.30 am to 11.30 pm. Phew! I almost could not feel my legs the next day.
This event really brought all of USJ students together, all Christians and non-Christians into God's presence. And it is just heart-piercing to see how many people responding to the challenge of the rally - to be the salt and light for Him, to first be the change, then change others, to surrender yourself back to Him and to accept Lord into your life, as the Lord of Lords and King of Kings.

Many people renewed their relationships with God, even I did, I just got on my knees and surrendered my life to God, let Him take control of my life and show me how to be the salt and light for Him. Not only that, a lot of people cried, there were like drops of water on the floor, seriously! Wanna know something, when you are at the altar, you will feel your hands shaking, you know? That's because of the Holy Spirit touching you. Mine were like vibrating! Then, we all prayed for our schools, for revival, tranformations, renewal, and hearts to be touched. Confession: I cried and bawled my eyes out, yeah you can ask those who were there. You know why? It was painful and I was hurting. So painful, that I cried out to God. I was scared that I would not see my best friends in heaven with me next time. I cried for them. I cried for the people that I know that have strayed away. I cried for myself, why haven't I done anything. Just as Shu Run said, imagine how would parents feel when their children deny them? That is how the Heavenly Father feels because there are so many who don't know their Father. Break my heart for what breaks Yours, Lord. I could not stop my tears, because it was like a wake up call. There are so many people around us, out there, next to us that are still in the darkness. We have to be the salt- to flavour and preserve, and the light to others because that is what we're supposed to do. And what God wants us to do, is simple enough. To believe in the one that He has sent (John 6).

And remember, to those of you who are hurting and weary and very stressed, just come back to the Lord for He will take away all of them. Have faith. That's all you have to do. The rally really brought revival and souls were saved (Yay!) most importantly, I have found my purpose of living. How about you?

PUSH RALLY!

This Is It. The most anticipated highlight of the year to highlight the ultimate, most awesome God! It's in one day time and I am super excited. I'll be ushering on that day and I still could not believe that I actually volunteered for Altar-work! It's ok, God, give me the strength and courage so that I will NOT freak out and can carry these people whose souls are being saved. For those who don't know what I'm talking about, haha, COME ONE COME ALL and trust me, this is going to be an amazing experience. Prepare your hearts to be touched, healed and blown away. Imagine gathering such a mass of crowd for one sole purpose, to glorify and magnify our Lord's Awesome-ness and to share His abundant love with others. Most importantly, we are aiming for the salvation of 1000 souls and for revival in our schools in Subang, one life at a time.

Lord, we pray for a radical change, to reach out to people, to touch lives for You, for everyone to know that they too are children of God. We also pray Lord for the courage and faith to stand up for You because You are the Almighty and we have nothing to fear with You watching over us everyday, in school, in tuition centres, at home, everywhere. We want to share Your amazing love with all your children, because You first loved us and we also want to show them the unconditional acceptance that You have shown us when You welcomed us into Your arms.

I can't wait to see how God will work in all of our lives through this event and everyday of our lives. Believe me when I say, prayers move mountains and having faith means acting on your believes, and entrusting everything onto God's shoulders. With God in the centre of our hearts, this event will be super awesome! Don't miss the coolest event of the year!

Perfect Snogging!

I know, Swoon... This is Aaron Johnson fron Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging.

Wanna know why the title of the movie is so long? Angus is Georgia's cat, which is a common interest between her and Robbie, this superbly adorable guy that has just moved there from London. So, they both really bonded when they went 'looking' for Angus - it was a scam/plot to get Robbie to notice her. Thongs are pretty much self-explanatory - they are dangerous and can only be worn by a 'woman', yeah the girls are some bunch of wannabes. Perfect Snogging means there are fireworks when you kiss that someone, like when Georgia kissed Robbie at the pool.
Actually, I was prompted to watch that movie because of him and trust me, it's worth watching. He looks so dreamy with his bluish-greenish eyes and super adorable looks. Yeah, once again, life is unfair. Haha, I just wanted to share some pictures of Aaron Johnson.
He is in a band called "The Stiff Dylans" and yeah, it actually exists and he plays the bass guitar! They have a few really good songs which I am downloading now. The movies is actually super sweet =) A little disgusting and blunt but I almost cried watching it, especially the ending. There were certainly many parts that make you cringe with embarassment and disgust, but they are facts of life... Go watch it and you'll understand what I mean. It's really sweet and you'll learn that you have to love yourself for who you are and that makes you perfect already, just as what Georgia has learnt. "You are my perfect nutter," said Robbie (Aaron Johnson). Yeah, it is really WORTH watching for the him. Makes your heart skip a beat, or maybe two!
Besides, his British accent is equally alluring =)

Chuck-ed!

"I just want to lead a normal life, no more pretending." - Chuck Bartowski

Yay! I have finished watching SEASON 2 of Chuck, NBC's masterpiece/work of art/commendable feat/most amazing spy show ever. I fell in love with this show ever since the first episode, really. It cheers me up and gets me laughing everytime I watch it, man. It's super awesome and let me tell you why.

1. Chuck Bartowski makes NERDS look COOL. Fixing computers, graduating from Stanford, having an Intersect in his brain, getting in and out trouble, capturing notorious viallains, and falling in love with another agent (breach of protocol, according to Sarah Walker) seem super awesome. Makes you aspire to be a secret agent when you grow up. As an agent, you get a fancy car, fancy underground castle, fancy gadgets, fancy paycheck, and most importantly, lessons and training - on how to seduce strangers and how to work a gun. However, being tortured to extract information is definitely not one of the perks of being a secret agent... The special thing about Chuck is that he still has a big heart, cares for his sister, Elly and best friend, Morgan despite the whole turmoil of his secret life. Sweet, hilarious, caring, bold, naive and stubborn, Chuck is definitely in for the time of his life the second he opened the email and downloaded the whole Intersect into his brain.
To those who have no idea what I am talking about, the Intersect is a series of incrypted pictures that is a colaboration of the CIA and NSA's work. Bryce Larkin (below) destroyed it and sent it to Chuck through an email which he opened and unintentionally watched it. So, now he is the one who knows all the secrets of both CIA and NSA. The problem is FULCRUM, an evil spy company is after the Intersect, or more like after Chuck. That's why Agent Casey and Agent Walker are on a mission to keep him safe. Besides that, they work together to put a stop to terrorism, villains, drug-trafficking and all illegal shinanigans in US, even globally. It's super funny =)
2. The secret agents are super AMAZING!!! Throughout both the seasons, they have had some pretty mouth-watering, jaw-dropping ' secret agents' that make you go Gaga!

Agent Sarah Walker is a CIA agent who has a sixpack abs and is super pretty. Sometimes, she manipulates her asset to accomplish her missions, even Chuck fell for her in the first episode and she could get any guy she wanted. The cool part is, she has a remarkable skill of aiming, so her forte is throwing knives at a freakishly accurate rate. As a secret spy, she is callous and kills in cold blood. However, when she was ordered to protect the Asset, Chuck, she was thrown into a rather unorthodox relationship with Chuck. She had to pretend to be his girlfriend for her cover which really delighted his sister, Elly who had been very worried about him being a bachelor for the rest of his life. However, she eventually falls for the Asset. Things got complicated yet sweeter between her and Chuck which sometimes jeopardised her decisions to comply to the Asset. A bitter-sweet relationship as both of them are thrown back and forth into this tumultuos mess where they have to constantly deny their feelings for each other so that they do not endanger each other's lives. So, even though their boyfriend-girlfriend realtionship was merely superficial for Chuck's cover, they still liked each other until the end of Season 2. Even though Chuck never admits it, Chuck is always jealous when Sarah meets another guy, even for a mission. The funny one was when she had to hook up with this highly reputed British MI6 agent (they thought he was Fulcrum at first) for a mission and he eventually fell in love with her (Season 2). Sorry for the spoilers... but the British guy is crazily brawny and you would swoon. Trust me.

This one here is Agent Casey. Chuck calls him a maniac machine, a robot, a monster etc. You get the idea, right? Agent Casey is a very able agent - his body is almost invincible, except to tranquilizers, he is solid, rock hard and very very scary. However, Chuck does feel safe when with Casey because he can easily take down 10 Fulcrum agents unarmed. Yup, I love him, too. Despite his outer appearance of a Terminator robot, he sometimes shows his softer side (once a blue moon) and compassion towards Chuck. Chuck treats Casey as a brother although both of them are always at loggerheads.
Both Casey and Walker make the perfect spy team along with their sidekick, the Asset.
And finally, why should you watch Chuck?

Bryce Larkin has the most beautiful eyes for a secret agent. (Step aside, James Bond!) Sigh.... life is unfair, k.

Just yesterday at Bible Study with my youth group, we were talking about 'falling in love'. Then, Uncle Lean Hock said that falling in love means understanding the other party, not acting rashly to try to capture the girl/boy's attention. It's something about mutual reciprocation. I laughed when he said it's pointless when the person does not know that you are in love. Then I said, "Yeah, I know how it feels..." Hahaha... because in my head was the picture of Bryce Larkin, haha =)

But, SPOILER ALERT! Enjoy this season as you are not going to see him anymore in Season 3. He is killed in the last episode. Bryce Larkin had been protecting Chuck all along, even to the last minute when he asked Chuck to destroy the Intersect. A true hero.

Well, I cannot wait for the 3rd season because it is pretty super awesome. Really, it is a must watch.

Buttons!

Just wanted to share some pretty awesome stuff with all the Twilight fans I know. For more, you can visit http://simplychicblogs.blogspot.com/ Really, I do not even think I give them enought credit because their templates are so ah-mazing that you are spoilt for choice =)

Expelliarmus!

Alohomora! Reducto! Levicorpus! Wingardium... i don't know how to spell.

Anyway, can't wait for the 6th Harry Potter to come out! I think it should be in one month's time, I suppose. The trailer was super awesome and just got me jumping off my chair. Well, for those faithful Harry Potter fans, I'm sure you know the storyline by heart and this is a must to watch! I don't want to spoil it for any of you who don't read the story but only watch the movie because Draco Malfoy is hot.

So, this is the website http://harrypotter.warnerbros.com/harrypotterandthehalf-bloodprince/#/home Go check the website out, it's very very cool!
Although the movie had been brutally put into comparison with Twilight, I still think HP movies are magical. Literally, that is haha... With scandalous plots, witty villain, super-adorable Ron Weasley =) and a world beyond our wildest imagination, Harry Potter is a legend of its own and I am pestering my brother to at least read the first book.

My all-time favourite character is Ronald Weasley. Hilarious, dumb, naive, rash, protective, sensitive, impulsive and sweet all at the same time. Aww, how can you not love Ron? Besides, he looks pretty darn good in his woollen sweaters!
