"Once again Harry, I must ask too much of you." - Professor Albus DumbledoreLadies and gentlemen, this is THE summer movie of the year. Really.
I watched the movie at One Utama and I have to tell you, the cinema there is out of this world. Seriously, the arm chairs are like your sofas at home, all soft and comfy and with ample butt space. Most importantly, the screen is ginormous and the sound system really makes you feel as though you are part of the movie. And imagine watching Harry Potter at GSC in One Utama? Insane!!! Actually I really loved the movie - amazing. Actually, I would say that for every HP movie because the way they reenact and bring to life your imagination is simply spectacular and magical. I have always loved the graphics and soundtracks of HP - very mysterious, grand, haunting. For those who said the movie sucked, go watch it at One Utama. Sorry folks, but truth is, the cinema in Sunway Pyramid sucks, big time!
This movie has always been a phenomenon that has captured the hearts of millions, including mine. So, it wasn't surprising that the premiere in London was equally crazy! Despite the torrential downpour, hundreds of fans faithfully turned up on the 15th of July.
Voila! Emma Watson took to the red carpet in a vintage dress by 1970s designer Ossie Clark, while co-stars Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint looked slightly bedraggled in suits, clearly having been caught by some of the rain. If you want to watch the premiere, go to :
I somehow prefer Danielle Radcliffe in his glasses though... but this is a very nice pic.
This is the rest of the cast. You have the dangerously handsome, suave and dark "Death Eater" Tom Felton who plays Draco Malfoy - the taunted, mysterious teen who undertook an impossible task from You-Know-Who, which took a heart-breaking twist when Snape ended up killing Dumbledore. *sobs* Next, there is the super gorgeous Emma Watson, who plays Hermione Granger, the super smart-ass of Hogwarts whose sensitive and sentimental sides towards Ron Weasley were painfully obvious, but Ron, being him, he was Oblivious to them of course. Then there is Rupert Grint whom had just recovered from H1N1 *awww* and he plays Ron Weasley - who is quite a womanizer is this movie actually, toggling between Lavender and Hermione and inadvertently, Romilda thanks to her very potent love-potion-infested-chocs. But he is still very sweet in his dorky, awkward manner =) Danielle Radcliffe plays Harry Potter - duh, understatement of the year. Next to him, you have Bonnie Wright who plays the character of Ginny Weasley - HP's sweetheart. And haha she is taller than him in the movie, because she is actually 20 years old in real life! It was so funny when she tried to kiss Harry, hahaha. Lastly, you have Jessica Cave who plays Lavender Brown - the total desperado who fell head-over-heels for Won-Won. But she is a really good actress, seriously.

The Weasley Twins! Love them like crazy! Super hilarious and adorable.
My favourite part is always the Quidditch game. Omg, and in this movie, they played it in winter with snow everywhere and it's just breathtaking. Makes you wanna grab a broom and jump into a freezer with flying cotton wools. Dang. This movie not only makes you laugh, but touches your heart with suspense, sweetness and sorrow. I screamed when the Inferi suddenly grabbed Harry's hand - freaking scary, k? I also cried when Dumbledore was killed and everyone raised their wands in the air to pay their respect to him.
So, go watch this movie and see your imagination come to life. Beyond anything you'd imagine.
Oh, and my sister has gone back to Australia (gasp! Melbournes somemore) but yay! I have the whole room to myself now. Sweet! haha, just kidding. Well can't wait for her to come back next time with more chocolates and clothes for me!
